The inventors of the Atomic Bomb were Robert Oppenheimer, David Bohm, Leo Szilard, Eugene Wigner, Otto Frisch, Rudolf Peierls, Felix Bloch, Neils Bhor, Emilio Segre, James Franck, Enrico Fermi, Klaus Fuchs and Edward Teller.

The bomb, when created, was so powerful that a blind girl could see the flash 100 miles away. Why release a bomb so dangerous then, you might say? Blame the government. The people who actually created the bomb did not even want the bomb released, nor did they want to make any more. They created the bomb by using Uranium 253, in the purest state. This takes forever to acheive. So the creators were low on supply as well.
